3. We went to an extremely cool place yesterday called CHAP, which stands for Children's Healing Arts Project. They do art with kids who have cancer, and they also have an art factory downtown for healthy kids to come to and do art. The fees from the healthy kids go to fund the programs for the kids with cancer. It's a great concept, and it's also just tons of fun. At the art factory, the kids can literally paint on anything - toys, tables, couches, mannequins, etc. Mateo and Natalia and one of their preschool friends had a blast, and we even ran into another family we knew from baby group way back when Mateo was a baby. Here they are, painting like mad:
2. Speaking of when Mateo was a baby, he sure isn't anymore. He tested out our infant bathtub this afternoon and wow, he is such a big boy now. Hard to believe he was ever so little, but he was! Here he is, giving it a test run:
1. And, speaking of babies, we sure hope ours is coming soon! Sacha and I will be going to the hospital tomorrow (Saturday) night just before midnight to start the induction process. Because she's before her due date, if the pitocin kicks her into labor and she starts having regular contractions, then we'll have a baby. If her body doesn't respond to it for some reason, then they'll send her home and we'll try again in a few days. So, let's keep all our fingers and toes crossed for a good labor and healthy baby and mommy this weekend! We'll keep you posted, obviously. So exciting!!
