Auto show

The kids and I were looking for an adventure yesterday morning while Sacha rested, so we went to the Portland Auto Show!  We took the MAX train there and back and had tons of fun while we were there.  The train let us off right at the Expo Center and there were found three huge halls full of classic cars, all done up to the nines.  The kids loved it and so did I.   It was fun to just wander the rows and see what we found.  The kids even got to sit in one of them, which was especially cool.  When we were done, we were lucky enough to have a train waiting on the platform when we got there, so we were home in time for lunch.  It was a really fun morning.  Must make a mental note to go again next year!

Here are some photos of some of our favorite cars:

Mateo correctly identified this as a chopper!

Their favorites reminded them of Cars movie cars and this one looked like Ramone

They even had a plane!

Driving a Cobra race car!

The first old fashioned Bug they've ever seen

Here's Mateo next to a massive monster truck

This was apparently in the Scooby Doo movie

This one was a big fave - it looked like Doc Hudson from Cars
