We went on a highly-anticipated adventure today - to see some friends' black lab puppies! There were 10 of them and, of course, oh my goodness, how cute and wiggly they were. Te Te and Tali didn't quite know what to make of them, except for some tentative pats and directions ("Go through, puppy!" said Tali, to a puppy huddled under my legs), but they had a great time anyway. Actually, I think they both enjoyed most throwing a tennis ball for the mother dog to chase!
Our friend was kind enough to feed us lunch and send us on our way with some homegrown chicken eggs, to boot. Oh right, and that reminds me of the funniest puppy moment - when our friend and I turned to find Tali expectantly offering a small chicken egg to a tiny puppy, which obediently opened its mouth and took it! Luckily, the egg was removed before it broke, but it was quite a cute, if misguided, feeding attempt.
Here are some of the photos I took:

Baby dogs nursing! This let me know what a feeding frenzy really is.
Thanks for letting us come and hang out with all of you, Cami!

Oh my goodness, those puppies are unbearably cute. I'm impressed that you didn't bring one of them home!
